Besides her love of teaching the studio’s tiniest rising stars, Lisa has a BA in education and teaches eighth grade science.  This makes an excellent transition from one classroom to another challenging her “tots” and younger students to reach deep and develop their creativity.

Taylor Brooks

Taylor Brooks was two years old when she took her first dance class. In high school, she was a four-year member of the Maverick Sidekick drill team at Pasadena Memorial High School where she was 1st Lieutenant her junior year and the top position of Colonel during her senior year.  Taylor recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where she received her Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Family Science. Taylor was an officer of the University of Texas Dance Team for all four years of her college life where she went on to compete in national dance competitions. She also has an Associates of Arts in Dance from San Jacinto College South. Taylor has gone on to choreograph for many drill and cheer teams all over the state of Texas and is now the TIFI League Deer Park Starlights.

One important lesson she learned from her involvement in dance and drill team is that team and individual success is derived through discipline, commitment, respect, and loyalty. The second is that dance is her lifelong passion. She plans on being involved in dance some way throughout her lifetime whether it is performing or teaching. Taylor is very excited and eager to jump into her first year at Twin Arts dance studio!
