Norma Jean Risinger
Owner/Director
Norma Jean Risinger was an exhibition ballroom dancer for Fed Astair and taught on faculty at Twin Arts prior to purchasing the studio in 1973. Forming the Greater Pasadena Civic Jazz Ballet Company in the early 80's she began producing shows such as the Peter Pan, The Nutcracker and The
Wiz. Norma Jean also formed All American Showcase, and spent the next 15 years touring the country seeking out
some of the top amateur talent in the United States.
Norma Jean has put together a staff that will meet every student's needs in the classroom from two year olds through teens and on to the budding young professional and college dancer.

Deborah Sanford
Artistic Director
Deborah Sanford is trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, musical theatre, voice, and baton and began her life's journey of dance at Twin Arts at the age of two. She is a graduate of Dance Masters of America Teachers Training School and holds an Associate of Arts degree specializing in Technical Theatre and is a certified DMA national examiner. She has also held many offices within the DMA organization including President of South Texas Association of Dance Teachers as well as Director and Area IV Vice President at the national level. Deborah has choreographed and produced many civic ballets and musicals and has appeared in many Theater Under the Stars productions as well as several movies and the national television show "Dance Fever" and is now currently judging talent across the US. Her students have achieved many awards throughout the competition circuit with several going on to dance professionally. Many years of experience and her ongoing quest to continue her dance education has made Deborah one of the foremost teachers in the area.

Kim Collier
Director of Children's Work
Kim Collier is
trained in ballet, tap, jazz and baton and began her
dance classes at Twin Arts at the age of two. She has
helped develop a specially designed curriculum for two
year olds, and although Kim is excellent in the
classroom with all ages she prefers to teach classes
that accommodate the younger dancers. Her student's move
from one level to the next with ease knowing the basics
that advanced work is built on.

Melanie Bohaceck
Choreographer
Melanie Bohaceck has an extensive background in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and modem and is continually taking classes to keep her technique clean and tight. She is an accomplished choreographer with her work seen in San Jacinto College Dance and Theatre Department, and on the cheerleading and dance competition circuit. Melanie also has experience competing herself as a student and has been awarded high honors for her aggressive stile.

Heather Sanford
Teacher /Coach/Choreographer
Heather Sanford rounds out the faculty that grew up at Twin Arts. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and modern. Heather is a featured dancer for the San Jacinto College Dance Department and has appeared on national TV as a Disney cast member. Dancing since the age of two, and spending her childhood learning the ins and outs of the business, Heather has been exposed to all aspects of dance; classroom, performance, choreography, staging, and costume and set designed. She is the assistant teacher in most classes and coaches competition teams. She also choreographs and prepares dancers for various performances. Her ability to "connect" with the students makes her very popular with dancers and parents.
